Cue the lights and sirens, America: The vaccine police will soon be coming to a workplace near you.
And, according to one report, workers who are not vaccinated against the coronavirus may pay the price.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration, an agency within the Department of Labor, said Monday that an interagency review has been completed that was the final step for its plan to enforce President Joe Biden’s vaccine mandate on employers with 100 or more workers.
"On November 1, the Office of Management and Budget completed its regulatory review of the emergency temporary standard. The Federal Register will publish the emergency temporary standard in the coming days," a Labor Department spokesman said, according to CNN.
"The Occupational Safety and Health Administration has been working expeditiously to develop an emergency temporary standard that covers employers with 100 or more employees, firm- or company-wide, and provides options for compliance."
"Covered employers must develop, implement, and enforce a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy, unless they adopt a policy requiring employees to choose either to get vaccinated or to undergo regular COVID-19 testing and wear a face covering at work. The ETS also requires employers to provide paid time to workers to get vaccinated and paid sick leave to recover from any side effects,” the spokesman added.

Legally, what’s even more amazing about this is that OSHA believes it has the authority to order that employers provide paid time off for vaccinations and any side effects. That’s not a workplace safety standard — that’s a mandated government benefit.
Time for the great resignation.
What’s the legal justification for this?
Covid has a 99.999% survival rate
this is unwarranted, excessive, unconstitutional, and must be stopped
Well, I was doing just fine the last couple of weeks. I felt good. I was mentally perky. I suppose everything is cyclical. This news brings me right back to the emotional doldrums. Curious to see what my employer decides to do.
So now we have a bunch of unelected dictators barking orders?
I would imagine that OSHA may want to consider otherwise. Those in the oil field won’t take this lying down. Those trying to enforce these “mandates” may wind up as tractor food.
Good luck!
FJB!
We work with Federal entities and the US Gubmint has mandated such companies comply.
And yet millions of illegal immigrants are allowed into the United States without any sort of testing or vaccinations. That’s how concerned the federal government is about your health and safety.

Bring it all to a head.
Choose a side, mofo.

It no longer matters what’s legal. We are a socialist kleptocracy now and the powers that be will do whatever they want.
We are a constitutional republic in name only.
Neither OSHA nor Biden has the legal authority to impose any kind of mandate. I hope the businesses refuse to comply and that if they fail to do their employees walk out on them.
Yup. Mengelefauxcheeze and woolenski’s folks are working on redefining “fully vaxxed”. Like the redefined ‘vaccine’.
OSHA is a small agency, given the size of its mission: with its state partners, OSHA has approximately 2,400 inspectors covering more than 8 million workplaces where 130 million workers are employed. In Fiscal Year 2012 (ending Sept. 30), OSHA and its state partners conducted more than 83,000 inspections of workplaces across the United States — just a fraction of the nation’s worksites. According to a report by AFL–CIO, it would take OSHA 129 years to inspect all workplaces under its jurisdiction.......WIKI EXCERPT
I hope so too, but I doubt it. The vast majority will comply with this and they will also comply with the mandate for kids 5-11 in order to attend school when that comes.
“What’s the legal justification for this?”
That’s what’s so insidious about this secret process they’re going through. Plenty of smaller companies in the 100-500 person range would be willing to join a class action, but no one knows what’s in the rule. The Brandon admin is trying to impose the rule quickly enough that there won’t be time to challenge it before it goes into effect.
Waiting for them to show their cards to figure out our next steps.
