The market has completely flipped from early this morning.
The fix was aways in..

That’s not how bookmaking works.
What it means (I think) is that bookmakers have had to offer good odds for McAuliffe in order to cover bets on Youngkin.
I think the fix is in for McAuliffe, but I don’t believe the bookies have any special knowledge.
yup- barely 4 hours ago a complete flip....sort of like what happened in the middle of the night in 2020, wouldn’t ya say?

Bookies are middlemen. They do not attempt to predict the outcome of events (at least not directly) they try to wager an equal amount on all possible outcomes, and profit off the “vig”. Odds are set to have an equal amount wagered on both sides of any contest. (Same deal with point spread. The spread is where bookies think an equal amount will be bet on either team.)
Gawd, I don’t know why anybody wastes the bandwidth to post this gambling market garbage anymore, you would have thought we would have learned how useless they are in 2016 when they still had Hillary an 89%/11% favorite until actual ballots started being counted, they are utterly useless until the counting begins, then all they is usually track the vote totals as people by and sell as the tallies go up and down.
The fix is in..everyone knows that Dems know how to cheat..and if people think in 2022 midterms the Dems are gonna get their butts kicked they are living in a dream world..mail in voting, etc..Dems wont lose

Odds are set to make sure bets on both sides are covered. Bookies don’t want risk having to pay their own money out.
