President Biden on Thursday laid a wreath at Arlington National Cemetery’s Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and commemorated Veterans Day with a speech hailing the “unrelenting bravery and dedication” of America’s service members, including his late son Beau and the recently deceased Colin Powell and former Sen. Max Cleland.
On the 100th anniversary of the tomb’s dedication, Biden spoke of his friendships with Powell and Cleland and how his own family understood the experience of veterans through his late son’s deployments.

Isn’t he suppose to pay homage to deceased veterans on Memorial Day?? Isn’t Veterans Day for the living vets?

Extra now, because the DEAD Unknown Soldier came out of WWI which ended on Nov 11, creating “Veteran’s Day”. And it’s been 100 years since the DEAD soldier was laid to rest...
Hence, we have to play Memorial Day. Kind of screwy, isn’t it?
Heck, just the fact that people are always honoring vets with parades of them on “MEMORIAL DAY” is screwy!

Armistice Day was changed to Veteran’s Day around 1950 in order to recognize LIVING veterans. Memorial Day, in May, is to recognize DECEASED veterans. Folks either don’t know the difference or don’t care about it.
Well, “Indian corn” is suddenly now “Harvest corn”. Who knows what the left wants to cancel next . . .
