I have such a hard time imagining any parent willingly allowing their children to be injected with this substance. Granted, there are those who do and are coerced into it, but there are many who have willingly allowed it.

That’s the way I remember it too. I just didn’t want to use Governor Moonbeam’s real name because Moonbeam is who he is.

Sigh. It has been my observation over the years that their ears and eyes are blocked by their ideology.

I find it depressing because it is a rift I can’t see being overcome. But that is how it is...

No, John Tunney, another California politician. Members of the production team had worked for Tunney and the writer had written for Eugene McCarthy. They weren’t trying to be hard on Tunney or other Democrats, though. Tunney in 1970 was what Biden was in 1972: a candidate whose only advantage and only platform was his youth. Both won.

“Our politics needs new purpose.”

“We have divides that need healing.”

“We need more trust in our lives.”

“We got to start shining a light on our shared values, the ones that cross party lines, the ones that build bridges instead of burn them.”

“Our children are our greatest asset, so, hey, let’s be as good of parents as we can be.”

“That freedom comes with responsibility, and that great leaders serve.”

I'll give McConaughey credit. This is the largest collection of truly meaningless, feel nice platitudes that I've encountered in a long time.

Strategy? Avoid important issues (crime-the dangerous crimes, illegal aliens, unemployment and lack of workers, evaporation of middle class and small business, viral lockdowns, homeless tents lining the streets, wokeness insulting our national traditions, you name it) and hope is show person name pulls him through.

Then, when safely in office, go full Gavin Newsome, and screw with the electorate and the voting so Texas never has a fair vote again.

(one highly suspects, that is).

They reminded me of Ricardo Montalban and his Chrysler Cordoba commercials with the fine Corinthian leather.

All these so-called moderates or “common sense” type people always have solutions that require us to give up rights and freedoms, and have conservatives capitulate to leftists. Never are the leftists ever asked to pull their heads out of their 3rd point of contact on anything, ever.

"His" conclusions are just DNC talking points about inclusion, unity, other phony baloney BS. Having an entertainment industry nitwit run for governor was something I had been looking forward to, oh well.

Watched one of the shows on Fox( at my moms and she wanted to watch it) and they were talking about McConaughey. One of then brought up the fact that he told no one about his views on anything. No one knows where he stands on anything.

Perhaps someone had the conversation with him and realized that he’s a complete moron, a Leftist just like Beto, or a combination of both. Thus, has no chance to win, for now.

Something irredeemably smarmy about that man. I’d abstain before voting for him. He makes my skin crawl.

You nailed it. I can’t stand the way he talks, looks or anything about him. The less I see of him the better off I am....

*** Something irredeemably smarmy about that man. I’d abstain before voting for him. He makes my skin crawl. ***

I remember him back when:

Dec 17, 1998
Actor Matthew McConaughey, well known for his role in the film “Dazed and Confused,” was arrested on Sunday night in his home in Austin, Texas, following a simple noise complaint by neighbors.
According to police reports, two uniformed officers were dispatched to McConaughey’s suburban home shortly after 2 a.m.
The arresting officer described finding a “nude, white male dancing and playing bongo drums,” later identified as McConaughey, in his home with another unidentified male.
He also reported finding marijuana paraphernalia inside the residence and asked “the nude male several times to put some pants on” before attempting to handcuff him and bring him to the police station. The actor, 29, was transported partially clothed and charged with resisting transportation (that is, resisting arrest).
