A friend, who has a very nice Porsche 911 Carrera, made up his mind that he would be able to drive the car wherever he desired, not challenging “the hood,” but to be free to drive his car.
He has a neat “piece,” hidden in the door pocket.
A .25 caliber handgun that is easy to handle, not going to blow away a bad guy, but effective in discouraging a carjacking. He has a CC License and kept up his proficiency.
End of story. And, life goes on.
Most, myself included, would deride the .25 as a doorstop (and yes, I do own one). That being said, even the most macho of bad guys is averse to gunshot wounds. If you carry, carry what you are comfortable with.
