Lateatia isn’t up with the times. Take away our cops and now our guns. Not happening. It might behoove da ho to read the Second Amendment.
Great. Then we can sue Ford and the local dealership for drunk drivers, right?
Hey, even better, when someone uses a legal loophole to embezzle millions, we can sue the State and the Governor too, right?
After all, if manufacturers are to be responsible for the uses their products are put to... The government's product is laws and regulations, we can sue for recovery from misuse of those too. Go ahead, set the precedent.
This is another illustration of James’ incompetence, unfitness and obsession with pandering. Thank God she won’t be governor.
The drunk was drinking Bud beer,

In a can? Sue aluminum miners, or recyclers.
In a bottle? Sue glass manufacturers, or again, recyclers.
I see a pattern: Recyclers!
STOP selling your guns to law enforcement and all government entities in NY. NOW!
If this is not done then....Calling all American gun buyers, STOP buying Glocks until they STOP selling guns to NY and CA.
Cannot sue gun manufacturers.
She’s a liar.
This certainly makes owning a vintage weapon manufactured by a company no longer in business a bit more attractive.
Most of those idiots don’t know the difference between an assault rifle and a cap gun.
How did I shoot 8 different models of machine guns on my birthday, then?
You are either ill-informed, or intentionally LYING.
Isn’t that basically what I wrote. Firearms manufacturers can be sued for defective products, but not for the damage/injury committed by criminals using firearms.
I don’t know. I wasn’t invited to your birthday. What were the models, and how long did it take you to get through the red tape necessary to own these fully automatic firearms. Or did you use firearms belonging to a range, which lent them to you?
Sounds like the stupid following the blind here. Good luck, Letitia. lol
New York Attorney General Letitia James (D) is enough of a fool that she could fit right in in California. What a jackass.
Yup. And this is *exactly* what prompted congress to pass that bill. But there is simply no stopping the power-hungry Democrat machine. It’s like rust, it never sleeps.
That’s exactly what Ron Barrett did when California added his .50 BMG rifles to their list of “assault” weapons. He refused to sell to any government agency, refused any maintenance/repair work, and even refused to ship rifles that had previously been sent to his shop by LE customers in California.
He took a strong line with that last point “If you want your rifle, you can drive over here to Tennessee and pick it up.”
Cost him a bunch of money, but he has stood firm all these years. Not many are able/willing to do that, and it’s probably impossible for a publicly traded company to take a similar stance, but it’s good that some are willing to sacrifice financial gain for doing the right thing.
Don’t get mad, get our people out. Then we can eat popcorn and watch while they descend into the cesspool of their own digging.
