Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell on Thursday said to reporters that “it would be a great idea” for Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) to switch to the Republican Party.
The comment came after McConnell and Manchin had a meeting as negotiations continue for President Biden’s Build Back Better plan, The Associated Press reported.
“As you know, he likes to talk,” McConnell said of Manchin. “It would not surprise you to know that I’ve suggested for years it would be a great idea, representing a deep red state like West Virginia, for him to come over to our side.”

OK - swap Manchin for Mitch. The GOP would lose one Rat collaborator and gain a RINO.

Manchin is a snake who will do what is best for Manchin. He only voted to confirm Kavanaugh because it was right before his 2018 election. Once he won that safely, he voted to impeach Trump (twice). The Republicans in WV have run absolute loser RINO challengers to him. Manchin will stay/leave according to which party best benefits him.

Actually I was listening to CNN last night and some of the Rat commentators were actually telling him to become a GOP Senator.
