So...
How many of his children and how much of his personal wealth is he willing to sacrifice so that Ukraine doesn’t stand alone?
I doubt there is anything in the Ukraine worth a single American life or a single taxpayer dollar.
Maybe if we had a more competent political and military leadership we might be able to finesse it. But the current leadership is so bad that we should avoid any confrontations.

Ridiculous. The CIA and Nuland Gang overthrew a duly-elected Ukraine President in 2014. Once it flipped from Russian Oligarch kleptocracy to American kleptocracy, the parasites from Hunter Biden to David Axelrod to Alex Vindman moved in.
All the neocon cretins have achieved is pushing a European-looking Russia into a tight alliance with China.

There should be no limit to the support we give Ukraine with intelligence and military equipment. Whatever it takes short of boots on the ground I doubt that intelligence and equipment would be enough for Ukraine to push back the Russians. And our intelligence abilities aren't all that good anyway.
