See Video at the link.

"Allowing people to live outside and defecate outside in public places and use drugs outside in front of our children, is both the cause and a symptom of growing disorder and chaos. It's the degradation of what holds us together as a civilization."

My summary: Homeless in public spaces is the result of our leaders actions.

Well funded ideologues made it easier to live on the streets doing in drugs. Law firm Laden and Watkins wanted to change vagrancy laws. Filed a lawsuit against Boise Idaho on behalf of homeless man.

Court ruled city has no right to criminalize homelessness and in fact had a duty to provide housing at taxpayer expense. 9th circuit and SCOTUS upheld the ruling.

Seattle bought apartments for $300,000 per homeless person using covid relief funds.

Tucker goes through several cities priorities funding drug addicts vs working people. Problem is growing because they are paying for homeless.

In LA, a homeless person killed a 24 year old woman who was working alone in a furniture store. Another homeless killer had a long rap sheet in multiple states, but was part of the "protected" homeless class.

2019 clip of homeless tents in California. Newsome spent $12B more money in response and it has gotten worse. Then shows the railroad tracks.

"Allowing people to live outside and defecate outside in public places and use drugs outside in front of our children, is both the cause and a symptom of growing disorder and chaos. It's the degradation of what holds us together as a civilization."

In NY homeless are getting more to live outside to smoke meth than the city's entire public university system that educates more people.

NY now has "overdose prevention" centers where addicts can shoot up in a controlled environment. It's drawing addicts into communities.

Solution: Get a job or leave. We know it works because it has in the past.

"What we are doing now is uncompassionate. It's an attack on civilization."

There is another side of this though. This video from Toronto says homelessness is not just a mental health and addict problem. That people with good careers end up homeless.

How older men end up homeless"

There is an estimated 500,000 to 600,000 homeless in the US. There are 300,000 shelter beds. I don’t know if these numbers are valid. You know activists tend to exaggerate.

Personally, I think it’s intentional. The leftists HATE this country and Trump’s winning broke them so much that they refuse to play ball anymore and will do anything and everything to assuage their fee-fees and blame it all on conservatives and dem whyte supreemacists.

From California to New York to Canada and Australia it’s all the same - Christendom is under attack from within.

Fancy high rises for the homeless. Working stiffs, not so much. In fact, you get to pay for it.

The collapse occurred long ago. We’re $30T in current debt and have $300T in underfunded public pension liabilities throughout the country.

“Court ruled city has no right to criminalize homelessness”

Being poor with no place to sleep is not a crime, and should NEVER be punished as such.

Crapping in the middle of the street is a crime, and should be punished as such.

Don’t conflate the two.

Every City used to have cheap places to live. “The
Other Side of The Tracks”, “The Barrio”, “The Ghetto”. Gentrification and the flood of ILLEGALS have contributed to gobblng up these once less-than-desireable places forcing out many poor folks, YOUR FELLOW CITIZENS.

Dems want the voters, and RINOS want the low-scale Tenants and slave labor workers.
MAGA was fixing lots of that. That’s one of the reasons why The System had to get rid our GOAT PDJT.

It's a degradation of what separates humanity from animals in the wild.

"Why only the men? Female privilege?

That's a very good question. It would be interesting to see how many of them were financially devastated through a divorce.

And what happened to their wives? Is there more support available for women? Do they remarry?

You’re are correct.

Speaking only for Detroit, they take women with children into the shelters first, second is women without children.

Men can stay in the shelters on a night by night basis. They have to leave during the day. They stay in a guarded separate area away from the women and from children with the women.

"The collapse occurred long ago."

The offshoring of jobs and the associated labor dislocations has certainly contributed to homelessness. We need to restore the protective tariffs that we had in place for 180 years, that served our country well.

We're also seeing an accelerating rate of change and that causes labor dislocations as well.

I remember hearing a story a while back about a homeless guy who was camping full-time in the forest outside Flagstaff, AZ.

Some forest ranger found him, arrested him, and took him into Flagstaff and turned him loose.

Apparently it was legal to be homeless in the city, but not in the forest.

Problem is, “the homeless” are a very heterogeneous group. It is futile to try to characterize all of them with a few words or categories. Yet that is what politicians do, with the intent of slanting their take to fit a certain narrative.

I recall a “scientific” study done years ago, maybe the 1980’s. Social scientists surveyed a large sample of homeless people as to the reason for their homelessness. They concluded, after much analysis, that the cause of homelessness is not having enough money. True.
