Announcing that “enforcement is underway,” Ottawa police tweeted just before 2 p.m. Sunday that anyone who attempts to bring “material” supports, including gas, to demonstrators could be subject to arrest.
When asked earlier about the possibility of cutting off the supply of gas, diesel and propane to protestors, Ottawa Police Service said that they do not speak about operations, “for officer safety reasons.”

What crime are they committing?
Self defense is a human right.
They are defying the all powerful Wizard of Oz AKA the Prime Minister and his Agenda 21 Marxist allies.
And I saw one of the Truckers leaders saying they would still deliver food and gas... maybe it is time to seriously rethink your position?
CUT THEM OFF OF ALL SUPPLIES, LET THEM FREEZE AND STARVE, the good citizens you can transport out of the city
Easy solution.
Drop the mandates and restrictions, all of them, and this whole event will just be (for you) a bad memory.
For the rest of us, it will be a glorious victory.
Truckers simply have to take turns leaving, filling up and getting replenished and coming back. It would mean a steady flow of traffic through the city so it would be much more difficult to actually ticket someone for “occupying” or whatever it is they want to claim they are doing.
Arrested for what?
I believe they are delivering food and gas to the truckers.
Follow Sun Tzu’s advice about prolonged wars: it’s costly and you’ll lose momentum.
We’ll see what they do. Seems there is a lot of popular support among Canadians. But the proof is in the pudding, so we’ll see.

If they are blocking traffic, they are breaking the law. I assume, I don’t know anything about Canadian laws. Peaceful protest does not mean you get to rob someone else of their rights, just like when Antifa/BLM did it. I think what these guys are doing is outstanding, but we have to be consistent. I think these drivers should disperse and refuse to drive or deliver goods until the mandate is lifted. As groceries and necessities get tight, all of the people will turn on the government.
When outsiders were bringing in food and other supplies to Seattle’s insurrectionist “CHAZ” zone two years ago, local authorities didn’t object. In fact, they helped out by bringing in free porta-potties and free barriers, and by letting the insurrectionists dig up a local park for their “guerilla gardens.” The city even briefly considered giving a police precinct headquarters to BLM. The FBI was nowhere to be seen.
If the trucks run out of gas they won’t leave and the tow trucks won’t come.
Vagrancy?
They declared the protest as ‘unlawful’ which, as you point out, they make up whatever laws they want.
Authorities are trying to avoid going Bull Connor on the truckers. If they get violent, then it’ll look like government overreach. So they’ve ‘stood down’ and done little so far.
Look for a false flag bit of violence they can blame on the truckers. Their version of a 1/6 basically.
The truckers will bear the blame when things get tight because they refuse to deliver goods, not the government.
