The world's biodiversity is constantly being threatened by warming temperatures and extreme changes in climate and weather patterns.
And while that "doom and gloom" is the typical discourse surrounding how climate change is affecting biodiversity, another interesting aspect of the warming temperatures is how different species have been adapting over the decades, as the warming progresses, experts say.
Here are some unusual ways climate change is affecting nature:
Higher temperature extremes may increase the risk of outbreaks of tuberculosis in Kalahari meerkats by increasing physiological stress, as well as the movement of males between group, according to a study published in Nature Monday.
Albatrosses, a monogamous species famous for mating for life, are seeing higher "divorce" rates as temperatures warm, a study published in the Royal Society Journal in November found.
Polar bear populations were found to have up to a 10% loss in genetic diversity over a 20-year period as a result of inbreeding due to habitat fragmentation, a recent study published in Royal Society Journals in September found.
Researchers who monitored gray seals in the U.K.'s Skomer Marine Conservation Zone for three decades found that climate change has caused older seal mothers to give birth to pups earlier.
Birds in undisturbed areas of the Amazon rainforest, the largest in the world, are experiencing physical changes to dryer, hotter climates, according to research published in Science Advances in November.

I’ll believe it when I see lawyers soliciting polar bears for their divorce business.
In the 1980’s, polar bears were a threatened species, after decades of high-power rifle hunting that began in 1910 and 1920’s. That commercial hunting stopped .... and temperatures increased, .... and now there are more than 30,000 polar bears in the census! More now than EVER before counted in the regional population studies.
No, polar bears are NOT threatened by global warming; hence, the extremists HAVE TO CREATE a new threat.

Everything this particular year is perfection incarnate and if evolution does happen, it will be a perverse event and will fortell the reign of Satan. These articles are the longest click bait on the web. I do believe our running class is inbred. When you see the anger and manipulation of our ruling class it is obvious to me. When you see the illegitimate son of Castro ruling a country or the supposed daughter of Hitler ruling another you question the whole system.
Years ago I remember reading a paper abut mallard ducks. The traditional belief was they mated for life. Some professor, hoping for tenure, studied them and figured out that they didn’t. Each year they might pair with a different female. (How would the casual observor know? Female mallards all look alike.) This was way before the alleged global warming. This was when we were told another ice age was coming.
all this insanity caused by an alleged 1/2 degree increase in temperatures.
