Years ago, I thought John Bolton was a level-headed guy. He proved me wrong.
Same here.
I was fooled, too.
LOLOL!!!
The Left is STILL mad at this Walrus-mustachioed circus clown for not helping put Peaches on Orange Man Bad the first go-around!
Sawed-off Clown Boy is a Muh Russia "ex-Spurt", kind of like Jeffy Toobin's Zoom finish was an "ex-Spurt" after the denouement...
Bolton was well known to be awful before Trump dragged him into his admin.
This story is getting old.
John Bolton has wandered into a fever swamp, and is severely afflicted, unable to escape the wrath he brought down upon himself by working at cross purposes to Team Trump. It has not paid well.
A second Trump term, whether in 2021 or 2025, would never have been in the interests of Vladimir Putin. As the US had by 2020 become an energy EXPORTING country, the balance of international trade in petroleum and natural gas had shifted very much in favor of the US, and Russia would have seen sharply dropping revenues, as they scrambled to make up the difference in revenue from crude oil and natural gas by trying to compete with US liquified natural gas tankers moving to markets all over the world, and no net import of crude or refined petroleum products by the US.
The myth that Putin “wanted” Trump to have a second term is just that, a myth, and one that served no rational purpose. The elastic morality of the Joe Stolen/”Que mala” Harris regime, effectively enacted by the oligarchy, has made the series of policy decisions in conformity with the “Great Reset” an ideal opportunity for Vladimir Putin to exert vastly more international control than the rather shabby nation, of which he is essentially the Maximum Leader, would figure in an objective observation.
Bolton is Deep State.
Bolton is an idiot and just upset that President Donald J Trump saw RIGHT THRU HIM.
IDIOT.
Bolton trying to hang Putin around Trump.
NO CREDIBILITY. AT ALL.
Creepy mustache man.
He is strong on military action, but he can’t seem to think outside of that; so everything is a nail and the solution is a hammer. Whether that be bombing Iran over a wrecked drone, sending boots on ground to Syria, etc.
there’s a reason why official Washington shunned him for most of his career.
As Trump's National Security Adviser though, Bolton was foolishly combative with Trump, with too many disagreements being in the nature of an employee thinking the boss to be an inexperienced dope and therefore subject to countermand by the employee. More broadly, Bolton seemed to be both more hawkish than Trump and unable to accept Trump's real estate hustler manner of negotiation and efforts to keep adversaries off-balance and guessing at his intentions.
If more self-disciplined and less arrogant, Bolton would have put aside his personal opinions and might have become a successful adviser and executor for Trump, like Secretary of State John Hay with Teddy Roosevelt. Similarly, Kissinger sometimes clashed with or was exasperated with Nixon or criticized him in private, but he cleverly used Nixon's reputation for toughness and daring moves as a lever to secure agreements with foreign counterparts.
Amen
I used to think he was a conservative warrior and one of the good guys.
How good of him to show me how wrong I was. He’s off my list forever just like Linda Graham.
