He said 'cancel culture' was behind politically motivated efforts to remove him
Cuomo acknowledged his behavior wasn't appropriate but quickly added that nothing he did violated the law

Cuomo used his platform Sunday mostly to condemn a social media-fueled climate he said is growing and dangerous
Several district attorneys in NY said they found Cuomo's accusers 'credible,' but available evidence wasn't strong enough to press criminal charges against him
It was his first public appearance since the former governor resigned from his position on August 10, 2021
