I think I’ve figured out why Deep State got rid of Cuomo.
He was running for gov again, refused to be told no.
The Granny Killer would never be re-elected in an honest election, and Deep State didn’t want to steal one for him. If the nation found out that NYS elections are rigged, too, the jig would be up. Deep State could never rig another election. Especially not the presidential election.
Cuomo had to go.
Not to mention making an example of him sent a message to anyone else thinking of screwing Deep State.
