EXCLUSIVE: The head of the Republican Study Committee (RSC) has called on Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen to launch an investigation into whether Russia secretly funded U.S. green groups that advocate against domestic oil and gas production.
Rep. Jim Banks, R-Ind., led a letter to Yellen Friday that cites a 2015 Washington Free Beacon report that suggested the California-based Sea Change Foundation may allegedly be a conduit for Russian oil interests in funneling money to groups like the League of Conservation Voters (LCV), the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), the Sierra Club and the Center for American Progress.

The Federalist reported on this recently. Russia has been backing environmentalist groups for years in order to force the West to capitulate, allowing Russia to drill and export at their leisure while neutering Western energy.
All of them protected their interests by financing various green groups and allied politicians in Europe and the US.
Cheap energy is the natural outcome of market and technological processes. But nobody makes money out of cheap energy, with its tiny margins.
All China. The green energy weapon to watch America kill itself.
A more accurate way to put it is that the intention was to suppress competition, to support prices.

Several of those environmental groups also hired a firm called Fenton Communications, headed by David? Fenton, who is, as I recall, a former photographer associated with the North Vietnamese, etc. For the right money he smears any target.
