Georgia has two Democrat Senators and the incumbent is a Democrat - it will be a hard fought race to take it back, especially with Warnock's war chest. Toss up seems appropriate.
North Carolina is normally narrowly decided. Obama carried it in 2008, it elected John Edwards when it was more conservative that it is now, currently has a Democrat Governor. It will be an open seat. Toss up is an appropriate categorization.
Agree. I live in Az and believe he is toast no matter who is opponent is. Sinema, on the other hand will win easily in ‘24.
“Georgia has been trending left for a while.”
If you call vote fraud trending left.
A majority of Assistant Democrats is nothing to crow about.
Oh, forgot about Kay Hagan’s election in NC as well.
Yes, toss up.
Has the machines been programed yet?
The machines have been programmed but we can't inspect them because they use 'proprietary software' that can't be inspected.
A lot of people believe this is fine.
That’s impressive.
Patty won by 19 points last time.
It goes far beyond vote fraud. Georgia has had an influx of wealthy urban wokester Whites into the Atlanta metro and Black migration from Detroit and Chicago. While Florida has trended right of the national average, Georgia has trended hard left, and it started with Bush.
Fulton and the entire Atlanta metro has shifted left. Look at Cobb.
Georgia has the same problem that Virginia has. Out of State wokesters moving into a rapidly expanding urban core that can dominate the State.
NC is lean R in the 2022 environment. Unlike Georgia, NC has been remarkably stable compared to the national average.
While it has the same Georgia problem in Wake and Mecklenburg Counties, it’s been offset by real movement toward the GOP in the Sandhills and among the ancestrally Democrat working class elsewhere in the State.
Unless some kind of miracle happens and most of that backstabbing GOP posse of fake Repukes disappears, we will have won nothing.
Keep thing swine like Lindsay Graham. That is what we have there.
I agree with that and I harbor no illusions that the elections will be fair. RATs will cheat and do it right in front of your face because they know they can.
Not believing the elections will be fair does not mean to stay home. At the very least we know we voted.
It cracks me up that people are predicting a red wave and “taking the Senate”.
The Democrats need 50 to have a working majority for most business.
The Republicans need AT LEAST 55 seats, more like 56 or 57, to control the chamber for most business, and to do anything of benefit to the nation, they need 60 or 61 because of the large number of leftist Republicans.
I believe the Election Integrity Project and Judicial Watch have made strides.
I don’t know if it’s enough.
I encourage all FReepers to support and volunteer.
Oh and True The Vote.
