In an interview on CNBC’s “The Exchange,” Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) blamed the coronavirus pandemic, the oil industry, and the meat industry for the record-high inflation in the United States.
Warren argued COVID primarily affected the supply chain and shifted the demand curve but also accused companies of increasing costs on top of the rising costs in an effort to generate additional profit.

Once the Gov rolls back the tax rates and “record profits” they rake in. Maybe at that point they can start to investigate the manufacturers?
I had this conversation with a Lieberal the other day.
If inflation is caused by greed then Biden is still incompetent. Because Greed does not come and go. The oil companies and ranchers were just as greedy 2 years ago as they are now. In fact, they were just as greedy when Obama was president. So why didn’t gasoline and food prices double in a year back then?
Even if all the inflation is caused by greed. Biden is incompetent because this didn’t happen under Trump, Obama, G.W. Bush, Clinton, G.H.W. Bush or Reagan. The last time this happened was under Carter who was incompetent.
