On Friday’s “PBS NewsHour,” New York Times columnist David Brooks reacted to the Senate Judiciary Committee’s confirmation hearings for Supreme Court nominee Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson by stating that there are some “Republican senators who are not really senators. They’re cable TV hosts.” And ask questions like the definition of a woman.

There will be a number of cases that come before the Supreme Court that may require the knowledge of the distinction between a man and a woman. Abortion, woman’s sports, pay equality, the military.... certainly many, many more. Seems like a logical question in this day and age.

Of course I will concede that the usual definition of man as an adult male doesn’t apply to Brooks, since he seems to be neither.

it would seem, to reason, thst any sitting judge in today’s time, might be handed a case for judgment concerning the issue of male and female biology, and all the 1000,000 issues that follow.
it would be just plain donkey dumb to appoint any judge,, either an E.T. or human, no matter which crayola crayon hue that judge ascribes to, that could not define woman or man!
Did they have the same sentiment when Senator Kamala Harris asked Amy Comey Barrett if she believed that smoking causes cancer?
