Why Democrats hope Romney will support Ketanji Brown Jackson

A recent letter backing Ketanji Brown Jackson for the Supreme Court rattled off many of her supporters’ oft-stated reasons she should be confirmed — her top-notch academic credentials, her support from police groups, her expansive experience in the law.

But this particular endorsement, written by 16 law professors from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, added another element of Jackson’s record that has not been as frequently discussed.

“Though we do not believe that religious faith should be a test for any federal office, as faculty at a law school whose sponsoring church endured persecution by the federal government, we find it worthy of note that Judge Jackson understands and values the freedom of religion,” said the letter, which argued that Jackson would be a “distinguished appointment” to the Supreme Court.

He’ll vote yes, to “help heal the damage Trump did to the nomination process” or some similar excuse.

He was against her before he was for her.

Romney knows she is good for business and will help destroy Trump. And to think I held my nose and voted for this democrat.

Willard et al present an interesting statist dog whistle.

No normal human sees these Lincoln Project tools as anything except frauds. Even centrists who have a pulse reject this bait. We all see them as they are: authority-bias infatuated snobs, and general "peaked in high school" losers with whom nobody would want to be friends or acquaintances.

But SOMEONE thinks that if enough spotlight is thrown their way, enough people will be blue pilled into jogging for the master race. Maybe the statists think these milquetoast Pubbies will entice leftists to stay left, but the left is already hooked.

Why does the MSM et al think people will follow these RINOs into the abyss?
