President Joe Biden will reportedly extend the 90-day student loan repayment pause through August.
Biden’s announcement of an extended pause may come on Wednesday, the Hill reported. Biden’s original extension was to sunset May 1.

They weren’t pausing municipal tax payments while they prevented owners from evicting non-paying tenants; logic plays no role here.
The young people with worthless degrees are still on the hook for the money (for the time being), just as are those tenants who didn’t pay rent. I read a story recently where the first generation that had borrowed heavily for school was reaching retirement age but unable to retire due to the school debt.
