The Biden Border Rush continues and looks to get even worse with the scheduled termination of Title 42 on May 23 (as if it’s not bad enough already).
The administration of Texas Governor Greg Abbott is fighting back with Operation Lone Star and is creating Texas’ own border policy.
Drastic times call for drastic measures.
Let’s look at six parts of the policy.

Stopping the flow is fighting back.
So boots on the ground at the border is helpful.
Assisting the dispersal throughout the country is not.

The article actually discusses that.

"Assisting the dispersal throughout the country is not [helpful]." Certainly, but bringing it to the attention of the country does far more good, than bad.

What hasn't been mentioned, up to now -
Should U.S. governors be negotiating with Mexican governors? Is it constitutional?
Under normal conditions a state shouldn’t be making deals with foreign powers. But we are no longer under normal conditions.
According to Article I, Section 10 of the Constitution, “No State shall, without the Consent of Congress…enter into any Agreement or Compact…with a foreign Power..unless actually invaded, or in such imminent Danger as will not admit of delay.”
Have we reached that point?
We certainly are being invaded, with the encouragement and cooperation of our own federal government.
Diplomatic policy lawfare, back in the D.C. cabal's face.

It is paltry numbers compared to the flights arranged by the feds.

"It is paltry numbers compared to the flights arranged by the feds." It's a start. Hopefully other states will follow suit.

That part is a PR stunt. The truck inspections are the real action, pushing the problem back into Mexico without regard for the economic consequences.
But even the PR stunt has symbloic value and voluntary is all Abbott can do without getting compared to Nazi cattle cars. Besides, a liberal federal judge would enjoin any involuntary transfers before the first bus was even started.

The Texas border has been a major issue before it was an issue. Why the wait Greg?

Amazing how many “conservatives” are ticked off or taking shots at Abbot for doing something. What’s your governor doing about the invasion?
To: lapsus calami
The libs in various states have been making deals with foreign countries for years.

The Texas border has been an issue since George W Bush was Governor.
It hasn’t gotten any better because Texas keeps voting for Bush League Republicans.

That "PR stunt" is an important part of the package of this throat punch that is giving the cabal the vapors. It was hilarious watching Psaki the lackey trying to craft some kind of response to all of it. Am certain they've got the DOJ and others burning the midnight oil to find a malicious legal response they can use, and I have no doubt Abbot & Co are expecting one. It's all a deliberate provocation and challenge to their authority that can't be ignored. The multiple layers involved are going to task the lawfare response they are no doubt cooking up. But in the meantime this "stunt" has broadly assisted in seizing the narrative away from the cabal - it's been on the local and national news broadcasts daily, is all over social media, internet forums, everyone is talking about it everywhere. Abbott & Co took pages out of the Trump playbook and with these plans are keeping the border up in the spotlight alongside covid and Ukraine, which ain't too shabby of an accomplishment under the circumstances.

of course Texas is being invaded.
I see it every day.
I think he should keep the truck inspections going.
Shut them down. Eventually, even the left will see the light.

But like it's been said - it's fine and legal if
they do it. But anyone else - off with their heads. Also, I don't think none of them have claimed the deals/negotiations were the result of utilizing powers due to an emergency situation like what's being done now. Mundane stuff if I can recall right. This is definitely new territory, publicly slapping the D.C. Regime in the face right in front of Mexico and everyone.

There is no fight at the border.
The number of invaders entering our country is only increasing, daily.
A country with integrity would fight the invader the way Ukraine fights Russia.
