Trump Endorses Populist J.D. Vance in Ohio Republican Senate Primary Race
Breitbart ^ | 15 Apr 2022 | JOHN BINDER

Posted on 04/15/2022 2:32:47 PM PDT by conservative98

Former President Donald Trump has endorsed best-selling author J.D. Vance, a vocal national populist, in the Ohio Republican Senate primary race.

[cut]

This is not an easy endorsement for me to make because I like and respect some of the other candidates in the race — they’ve said great things about “Trump” and, like me, they love Ohio and love our Country. I’ve studied this race closely and I think J.D. is the most likely to take out the weak, but dangerous, Democrat opponent — dangerous because they will have so much money to spend. [Emphasis added]

However, J.D. will destroy him in the debates and will fight for the MAGA Movement in the Senate. He’s strong on the Border, tough on Crime, understands how to use Taxes and Tariffs to hold China accountable, will fight to break up Big Tech, and has been a warrior on the Rigged and Stolen Presidential Election. J.D. is a Marine who served in the Iraq War, a graduate of The Ohio State University, and earned a Law Degree from Yale — a great student. With J.D. Vance, Ohio gets both brains and brawn. Ohio has been good to me, I won it twice, really BIG, and I have likewise been GREAT for Ohio. Let’s keep it going! [Emphasis added]

Trump voters must “unite behind J.D.’s campaign because, unlike so many other pretenders and wannabes, he will put America First,” Trump wrote.

I’m voting for Trump and anyone he endorses. That’s the deal.

If Trump endorses him, I guess a law degree can be waived as a disqualifyer.

I only know one decent person with a law degree, and he doesn't practice the law.

This one will be met with consternation too.
I don’t think it’s a bad endorsement as there weren’t other good alternatives.

I’m in also.

It’s fun to watch the folks that never got Trump at all, act
as if they’ve lost faith in him.

We beat the Left without them before. We will again.

For Trump, celebrity comes before competence. Just like Quack Oz. This is his pattern for a long, long time.

Ridiculous “childish” analysis is your pattern.

I don’t trust him. Never trumper in 2016 and from what I read not a registered Republican until the last few years. He might be the biggest name, but that goes with the OZ endorsement. I’m a broken glass Trump supporter but I may have to wear an extra layer of protection to crawl to the polls for this guy in the primaries. If he wins, I’ll vote for him in the main election.

We all thought Paul Ryan and Crenshaw were great picks too!! Sorry I don’t trust Vance!! Hope we don’t get screwed again!!! The endorsement in Tennessee and Oz are HUGE disappointments too!! Robbie Starbuck and Kathy Barnett are FAR BETTER MAGA candidates!!

Me too.

Trump knows things that FReepers don’t.

As amazing as that may sound...

And the bottom line is: whatever it takes to win right now. Everything else is secondary because if we don’t win control of at least one house of Congress in 2022, we are screwed.

Ooooooh, that's sad. I know several.

I don’t trust him either. If you have seen Hillbilly Elegy, his “autobiographical” movie, he is a total narcissist. He portrays family members as backwoods idiots. I am from hill type people and they may not have spoken perfectly or graduated high school, I have respect for their talents at other things. Narcissists make bad politicians.

J.D. Vance fought Trump every step of the way during Trumps being in office.

This makes 2 I totally disagree with J.D. Vance and OZ
