A former district staff member for Rep. Madison Cawthorn (R-N.C.) is accusing him of improperly firing her after denying her family and medical leave, allegations the lawmaker and his office have vehemently denied.
At one point during the call, Lisa Wiggins, who was a caseworker for the 26-year-old first-term representative in his district office for over a year, described that office as having “more liquor bottles than they do water bottles.”

She was probably referring to his liquor cabinet. The only water mine has in it is tonic water. Good thing I’m not running for anything.
More liquor bottle than water bottles? I don’t buy water by the bottle so I don’t see a problem here.

Be that as it may, I find it strange that Rino weasels are the very ones who want to ghost him.
But then, swamp land politics is a very strange game.
From my experience he is a solid conservative and very good on the issues.
That doesn’t preclude that he also has some personal issues that are not be suitable for a member of congress.

I live in Cawthorn’s district. The natives are not drinkers generally. Whenever I’d go to Republican picnics and dinners, there would be NO beer, NO booze. People here drink sweet iced tea. I wouldn’t bet on this accusation being true.
Like the issue of the presidential election of which he said Biden won fair and square?

Yes. He said Biden was elected legitimately, was his Presudent and he looked forward to working with him. Read this.
For those who don't know or remember, in late January Cawthorn proclaimed Biden's legitimacy and stated the election was not fraudulent.
"Yes, I think I would say that the election was not fraudulent. You know, the Constitution allowed for us to be able to push back as much as we could and I did that to the amount of the constitutional limits that I had at my disposal. So now I would say that Joseph R. Biden is our president.""So when I contested to the election, that was within the constitutional guidelines that the framers had set up. But after I've done that and the electors and the delegates from each state elected Joe Biden as our president, I respect the office. He is my president, and I want to work with him to make sure that we can bring some meaningful change to the American people."
Since Biden's inauguration, Cawthorn has signed onto a letter along with 16 other GOP House freshmen, saying they look forward to working with Biden. Notably, Cawthorn is the youngest member of Congress in modern history, according to US House records, at just 25 years old.
