Former President Donald Trump's presidential campaign has been ordered to pay nearly $1.3 million in legal fees to former White House aide Omarosa Manigault Newman by a New York court arbitrator.
The award, handed down on Tuesday, comes after Trump filed a complaint against Manigault Newman over her 2018 book, "Unhinged: An Insider's Account of the Trump White House," in which she called Trump a racist and suggested that he was in "real and serious" mental decline.

For the sake of the argument....is there any funding left in the 2020 Trump campaign ‘chest’? I would be thinking that is practically empty.
Well, if it was “binding arbitration”, this fight is over. Otherwise, it’s just beginning.
Yeah, another deranged NT’er, this time masquerading as an arbitrator.
are you kidding? latest reports I heard was that he has more than the entire DNC
I know someone who worked on the campaign and in the White House...
He said the joke was that if anyone needed to find Omarosa they should not look where any actual work was being done.
Another solid personnel decision.
She was famous for being a world class c***.
“A source with the Trump campaign told ABC News that Trump intends to appeal the ruling.”
Certainly doesn’t seem like its binding... Looks like this is just the process they sometimes force civil litigation through attempting to keep things from going to court proper court.
I read Trump has more than the DNC and RNC put together.
Which explains the disgust I get when the RNC calls asking me to donate, and I say I’m donating to Trump.
This exactly - there were some of these decisions that looked like he thought this was an Apprentice version in the White House. The core problem that will plague anyone without at least some governmental executive experience - look to the governors for experienced ‘outsiders’ with known personnel.
Appeal, and get it reduced to $1.87 and a bag of peanuts.
Yeah, but isn’t that labeled 2024 Campaign Funds, or as some type of PAC unrelated to 2020?
My perspective regarding trump and Biden, generally speaking:
Trump loses in the lower courts, and wins in the higher courts.
Biden wins in the lower courts, and loses in the higher courts.
She turned out to be a Judas character.
Shown every expression of affection by a friend, given every favor possible, only to betray him in the end, as if to say, as between the two of us, I am the greater, or, I have used you and will now discard you.
Many others did not do what Omarosa did, because Trump in no way ever deserves this kind of treatment by the people that wirk for him.
I’d like to hear Herschel Walker’s unvarnished opinion of Omarosa.
Or Lil’ John’s.
I wondered why he hired her in the first place.
On that show I sometimes wondered how much was actually her, and how much
was scripted. Then he hired her at the White House and I thought, he should
know. Evidently he didn’t.
She was given a pretty amazing opportunity, and came off looking pretty much
A see you address her here.
Certainly a serious ingrate > IMO.
I don’t think arbitration can be binding unless it was agreed to by both parties in some form of contract beforehand. But I could be wrong.
I’ve been through non-binding arbitration procedures representing a company that I worked for for almost 15 years.
That incident was non-binding. I suspect the TRump/Manigault arbitration is also “non-binding”.
Without finding President Trump guilty of any offense, I cannot see how a court could force Trump in a binding arbitration.
Ignore the order
Just let that douche go pound sand
