Well the rich and famous will be paying massive property tax bills.
Every resident there now is protected by Homestead provisions in Florida law. The other losers on the tax side will be the landlords who cannot homestead a rental property. The rental tax will track to new purchases within a year. Florida businesses will be socked with ever increasing prop taxes too.
Zelenskyy has a $35 million dollar house in Miami.

This has happened to the last two cities, and now this one. All out of towneres paying way over asking. Especially now with remote work. There are silicon valley types with silicon valley money buying up every house hours after they lost. The local economy can’t compete.

I didn’t doubt you I just wanted to see for myself. Folks say “Miami” and it could be anywhere in South Florida :)
