Gov. Brian Kemp has a chance of landing an outright victory against former U.S. Sen. David Perdue, according to an Atlanta Journal-Constitution poll that shows the Republican incumbent with a hefty advantage over his Donald Trump-backed challenger.
Kemp led Perdue 53% to 27% in the poll of likely voters in the Republican primary, which is now less than a month away. That would put the governor above the majority-vote threshold needed to avoid a June runoff. Other challengers were in the single digits; an additional 15% were undecided.
The poll was conducted April 10-22 by the University of Georgia’s School of Public and International Affairs and involved 886 likely Republican primary voters. The margin of error is 3.3 percentage points.

I have a tough time keeping up with all the names in all the states.
I think I remember now- Kemp is the pussy Georgia governor who would not help when it was proven there was vote fraud in Georgia...
Doesn’t help Kemp with Abrams. Georgians better support Kandiss Taylor or Abrams will be the next Governor because Kemp’s screwed GA for his last time.

Just as Raffensperger assisted in getting Perdue under 50% in 2020, he will assist in getting Kemp (and himself) above 50% in 2022.
Have to be intellectually honest and admit that Kemp has run an exceptionally good campaign and used his incumbency to sign into law and implement conservative policies that appeal to the base throughout this campaign, making media rounds, etc. Looking at the numbers, Kemp has also vastly outraised Perdue - Perdue has not even raised enough to campaign in a congressional district let alone statewide so Kemp has controlled the airwaves with little opposition from start to finish.
Clarification: Perdue is one of Hannity’s picks.
Hannity is much easier to watch when you fast forward through Lindsey Graham.
When Kemp refused to help Trump with the votes that were obviously bogus.. and Kemp turned on Trump.. Trump promised Kemp Trump would not forget and Kemp would be sorry.. (my words to what Trump said at the time). Trump said he’d be here next election.

To do all he thinks it takes to win... he sowed his bad vibes last election... He did himself in with all his dissing of Trump and his refusal to sort out the votes...and to give that empty senate seat to Loeffler instead of to Doug Collins..
she was a rich nobody and he put her in that seat.. while Collins has served GA and Trump WELL... he was the choice of people.. Kemp would not change his mind.. he gave that seat to the woman.. and she lost that seat to the dem... and that was the last hope... it gave the US Senate to the dems!!
And now Kemp wants to be a good boy and stay in the seat of power? I surely hope and pray to God...he does not!!
I am not enthused over Perdue.. but please don’t reward the liar and back stabber Kemp...he made too many very important mistakes!! and no one could tell him he was wrong...
if Kemp wins the primary, he will lose the election. If I were a Georgia resident, I sure as hell wouldn’t vote for him.
So Trump endorses those who are supposed to win? The greatest president who ever was should stick to issues and not endorsing candidates and celebrities.
If Republicans are stupid enough in GA to reelect Kemp, then go ahead.

Doug Collins did run for that Senate seat and got 20% of the vote.
But however it goes, certainly hope he doesn't drag down Herschel Walker as we need that Senate seat.
Much easier to watch when he has a substitute host.
