You are living in the past.

The leftist subversion of institutions is happening faster than you can imagine.

They will not be disavowed by their law school.

The law profession has been trashed as thoroughly as Big Pharma propaganda and thumbs on the scale just got finished trashing the medical profession by turning them into mini Mengeles.

You just have not noticed—yet.

No one leaks from the Supreme Court discussions. If they do, their name will be mud for the remainder of their legal career. They will not be employable anywhere in the legal community, left or right, because they cannot be trusted.

What you said only applies in the conservative world, not liberal world.

Any overturn of Roe vs Wade is not due to morality of anyone on the Left. It's because these Globalists know they've killed off too many Westerners who could make things work.

What’s your thoughts on #213? Is that common or not?

I don’t know about the inner workings of the Supreme Court. It says “Opinion of the Court” so it is drafted as the majority opinion. If it becomes not the majority opinion, it really only has to change a few words, including that lead-in and the removal of the order at the end, so I don’t see the need to draft a separate opinion.

Deep State is trying to screw with upcoming primaries and the midterms.

Too many Dem voters are jumping ship.

This is an election ploy.

Well goodbye midterms, we are gonna have a blue wave this November, this would have been better written up AFTER that

That's not how the government is supposed to work, especially in the Judicial branch. It is how it usually ends up working in this modern era, but it's not supposed to be.

I think the most important question is "why now?". This story would have been electoral TNT in late-September, and the media has gleefully dropped and ran stories to coincide with political expediency specific to the advantage of one political party. These nonpublic stories are the currency in which the swamp trades in, us schlubs in the hinterlands don't know what the washington post is sitting on, but the cocktail circuit crowd (and their staffers who spill dirt at brunches) know these things all too well and far before embargo lifts.

My guess is that either the story was too hot to stay contained because DC is such a hotbed of zealots that the story was already leaking on journo-list closed group chats, or that they know they need the electoral boost now because it's all downhill from here for the november elections and they need a distraction to change the narrative before inflation, crime, food shortages, etc... get too entrenched in the electorate's mind. If it was polling driven, they were probably losing the wine moms who were ok with covid lockdowns, but started to turn because their grocery bills were starting to add up.

This hot story coming right on the heels of the trial balloon of student debt forgiveness might also signal that wasn't going to get the dems enough of a bump either.

I’m certainly no expert but the wording there makes me skeptical.

Also, Barrett makes me skeptical. If this is on the level, is she on board? I doubt it.

“Scare tactics to motivate people to vote Rat in the midterms?”

Might be an attempt to scare people. But I believe the majority of Americans disapprove of abortion, and maybe the elitist RATs don’t even know that.

I’m praying for strength. Even though I’ve longed for news such as this, I’m wary it’s just a cruel trick of Satan to make us lose faith and falter.

Must prepare for any contingency.

It almost certainly was a draft majority opinion. It’s too detailed for anything else.

The leak is unprecedented. I’m flabbergasted that a clerk, even a libtard clerk would stoop to these depths. The only reason for such a leak is to try to drum up the goon squad to intimidate a justice into changing their mind.

What this means is that there were at least 5 votes in conference to overturn Roe. The next step would be to circulate opinions. Justices in the majority can and do sometimes change their minds and a majority opinion can turn into a minority one.

This actually happened with Casey in 1992. There were initially 5 votes in conference to overturn Roe. Then O’Connor got cold feet and drafted a new opinion and pulled Kennedy and Souter on her side.

The fact that this draft was leaked means that a liberal clerk is trying to make that happen again.

“praying that this isn’t some cruel, diversionary trick to manipulate the midterms.”

Sadly, that’s probably exactly what it is.

No need. The actual opinion will be out long before the midterms.

Deliberate sabotage to create a massive firestorm to prevent this decision from ever being adopted.

And their tactics will work. They are pulling out the big guns for this November.

Rare for an opinion to be leaked from SCOTUS in draft form.
............................................
Rare indeed. The leaker has risked his/her job by doing it, you can be sure of that!

On this issue, I disagree. There is too much money riding on the Judicial Clerkship program for all the law schools which feeds the courts with clerks. More judicial clerks equals more high paid attorneys. Those in turn equal large donations and that’s what law school’s are about. Money for naming every classroom, conference room, and hallway after some big-wig attorney who has made a large donation. They know that if one of their graduates, that they put their reputation on the line for by recommending for a clerkship, leaks a decision, they are done as a premier law school. What student wants to go to a law school that has such a bad reputation that judges will not even hire their graduates?
