Klobuchar: Alito Is ‘Taking Us Back to the 1850s’ — ‘This Is Really Extreme’
Breitbart ^ | 05/08/2022 | Pam Key

Posted on 05/08/2022 8:52:49 AM PDT by ChicagoConservative27

Senator Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) said Sunday on ABC’s “This Week” that Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito is “taking us back to the 1850s” in his draft opinion that shows the court is poised to overturn the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision.

Klobuchar said, “Let’s be clear about what’s going on here. With this leaked opinion, the court is looking at reversing 50 years of women’s rights, and the fall will be swift. Over 20 states have laws in place already. I think the question that voters are going to be asking when 75% of people are with us on this — who should make this decision? Should it be a woman and her doctor or a politician? Should it be Ted Cruz making this decision or a woman and her family? Where are women’s equal rights?”

Actually she is being generous to Alito. According to SNL, he is taking us back to the 1350s.

Giving such a controversial issue out of the hands of the authoritarians and back to the voters in each state is extremist - to an authoritarian.

Don’t forget the Bush and Cheney families wanted Roberts and Harriet Miers instead of Alito. Cheney called in to Rush and told us not to ask any questions about Miers. We should just trust W and Dick.

If you took Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) back to the 1850s she would lose that fat @$$ chopin’ wood and doin’ chores. Still have a ugly head though.

That’s OK Amy because you and your ilk want to take us back to caveman days by telling us we can’t use fossil fuels, drive gas cars, use air conditioning, heat, etc. You are driving prices sky high forcing many people to give up things they enjoy because they can’t afford them anymore. You want to bring us back to a time when cave dwellers were ignorant by your bastardizing of the truth about biology, climate etc.

I’ll gladly take 1850’s over your third world horror conditions anyday

So,go whine about not being able to murder unborn humans somewhere else. Your blatant hypocrisy amusing

No, back to 1973 (pre Roe v Wade) where each state decides what they want.

Note to stupid Ms Klobuchar, in regard to her comment:

“Over 20 states have laws in place already. I think the question that voters are going to be asking when 75% of people are with us on this — who should make this decision?”

The answer as her own question eludes to is not the courts and “not the courts” is what Alito’s draft decsion says. It says to Ms. Klobuchar, yes, let the people decide, through their legislators.

Klobuchar's witlesss father was drunk on his arse forty years without pause. Maybe Amy spent more time on his knee than we know.
