Former Rep. Lou Barletta (R-PA), running in Pennsylvania’s GOP gubernatorial primary, is calling on his fellow Republican candidates to drop out of the race and endorse him against State Sen. Doug Mastriano.

In an exclusive interview with SiriusXM Patriot’s Breitbart News Saturday, Barletta called on Republicans Dave White and Bill McSwain to drop out of the GOP gubernatorial primary and endorse his candidacy so the party can unite around one candidate against Mastriano, whom former President Trump endorsed on Saturday.

This doesn't look good on his part. In my opinion.

This is why runoff elections are needed for primaries. In a crowded field, the winner could have less than 30% or even 25% of the vote.

I’m voting for Lou in the primaries, but I’ll vote for Mastriano if he wins the primaries.

I lost big in 2018 and want to again in 2022. Not a great idea.

Worked for Brandon on the eve of Super Tuesday 2020. Everybody suddenly dropped out and let Brandon sweep it. Never bothered to at least find out where they stood in the race after all their time, money, and trouble.

You can quit and throw your weight behind the front-runner anytime. But wouldn’t you want to know what leverage you have and quit _after_ Super Tuesday rather than _before?_

That is quite a novel strategy.. begging opponents to quit.

If both doug & kathy win their nominations it wouldn’t surprise me for the PA establishment rinos to stay at home or vote for their democousins in the general….. just to try to prove they were right.

I trust the PA voters to think for themselves as to who would best represent them

Each Rep candidate in PA must answer two questions correctly.
1. Was the 2020 election corrupted and illegitimate?
2. Will you back Mitch McConnell for Senate majority leader?

A1. Yes
A2. No

Oh make no mistake if Barnette wins they will do nothing to support her and attack her harder than the Dems will the entire cycle..

Mastriota will face a similar type of response as well. Though the national GOP won’t he spending to stop him like they will Barnette

Honestly, I wished he stayed in congress. To be honest, that’s where our best are.
