The New York Yankees and the Tampa Bay Rays suspended their usual game coverage on Twitter to draw attention to gun violence within the United States.
Typically, the two organizations’ Twitter accounts post live states about the game being played. Instead, they posted statistics about gun violence on Thursday. The move by the two Major League Baseball teams comes in the aftermath of the Uvalde school shooting, where an 18-year-old gunman killed 19 children and two teachers at a Texas elementary school.

New York City in particular, with a racist black man recently shooting up a subway car full of people and another perp who shot an innocent passenger dead just a few days ago. New York City releases criminals back into the public because they don't care who they shoot and kill.

Amendment XIV is now under fire....
The Ray’s actually gave money to gun grabbing anything. I dispise that franchise now.
Uvalde sounds like a Yankees pitcher.
Anytown
Just another reason to send out a big FU to pro sports.
Ah, those useful idiots still supporting the MLB, an organization that hates them.
Did they mention 13/50+?
Did they mention all the blacks that are killing other blacks by the hundreds?
I didn’t think so.
They overcharge, overadvertise and rip off the fans to pay the obscene salaries of players, executives and owners. They are fleecing the useful idiots big time.
I took my son to a San Francisco Giants game in SF when he was about 5 or 6, about 25 years ago. We were sitting just past the dugouts on the third base line when they rolled out the “AIDS Quilt.” You can imagine the questions from my son: “Daddy, what’s that?”
I think I went to one or two games after that.
Did they mention the millions of people who successfully defended their loved ones with a firearm?
This is why I stopped watching baseball years ago. It’s a woke dumpster fire
beat me to it
All aboard!
0.000000925% of the population dies from gun related actions each year. Statistically speaking, this is insignificant!
What is never told, however, is a breakdown of those 30,000 deaths, to put them in perspective as compared to other causes of death:
• 65% of those deaths are by suicide which would never be prevented by gun laws
• 15% are by law enforcement in the line of duty and justified
• 17% are through criminal activity, gang and drug related or mentally ill persons – gun violence
• 3% are accidental discharge deaths
So technically, "gun violence" is not 30,000 annually, but drops to 5,100. Still too many? Well, first, how are those deaths spanned across the nation?
480 homicides (9.4%) were in Chicago
344 homicides (6.7%) were in Baltimore
333 homicides (6.5%) were in Detroit
119 homicides (2.3%) were in Washington D.C. (a 54% increase over prior years)
So basically, 25% of all gun crime happens in just 4 cities. All 4 of those cities have strict gun laws, so it is not the lack of law that is the root cause.
These are also democRAT controlled cities. The problem isn't guns. The problem is a RAT infestation.
This basically leaves 3,825 for the entire rest of the nation, or about 75 deaths per state. That is an average because some States have much higher rates than others. For example, California had 1,169 and Alabama had 1.
Again, California is infested with RATs. Alabama is not.
lots of emotion, but short on facts.
