I was 8 and saw the coronation on our new TV. All I remember is the the heavy crown. It was pretty amazing event at that age. A New Queen...and it’s 70 years later.

I was in London two weeks ago, and the celebration preparations were really getting going. The excitement was everywhere! They needed this boost after the tough pandemic experience.

Good point was made that corrupt republics are replaced by monarchies and when the monarchy goes corrupt it swings back to the republic.
