For the same reason that white people are underrepresented in professional basketball.

Businesses exist to generate wealth, not make people feel good about their identity group.

It’s also the reason that I’m not an asset manager even though I am a white male: I’m not qualified.

Can they show a single case of employment discrimination based on sex or race? No. Otherwise it would be a lawsuit.
