“justice reform”

Pretty much the opposite of law and order.

If you intentionally drove a car into George Gascon, would you get only 5 months' probation?

National justice reform, letting out the criminals rapists and murderers to prey upon your family while making every attempt to confiscate your guns so you are defenseless

“...could set back national justice reform movement...”

ROTFLMAO

I’d say that’s going to be set back for at least an entire generation.

“justice reform”

Just like in the names of bills put forth in Congress, once you get past that EVERY SINGLE WORD IS A LIE, these things make perfect sense.

These prosecutors want to be autonomous so only they can decide who gets charged and who doesn’t. They want to set policy and they want to be judge and jury. This is their “reform” they are talking about. Why have laws if one person can decide what is a crime and what is not. Very authoritarian of them, huh?

I know what you’re saying. My point is there can be a small roll… (campaigns about the importance of fatherhood etc) that Govs can play. But Most of it is good old fashion law enforcement obviously.

I’m from Oakland, which is actually a beautiful city if you’ve never been there, but the leadership hasn’t been any good for 50 years in terms of maintaining a safe city. Some areas have improved I guess. Things were seemingly on an upward trend before the George Floyd riots.

It’s frustrating bc the people keep voting the bad leadership back in. Law enforcement is an extension of ‘white supremacy’ to many Oaklanders. It’s just crazy what people will tolerate in order to not be associated with ‘the man.’

I was visiting family in SF a few months ago

My wife and I used to visit family members in the Bay Area years ago. We loved going out there. The family members have died since and we have no reason to visit that feces-hole ever again. I'm glad we went out there in late 80's to mid 90's when it was still fairly clean.

Per the poll results in the article I don’t have to be Nostradamus to predict the outcome. I think the recall of members of that school board showed the people of SF have had enough.
Mind you, these idiots don’t have it in them to elect officials and enact policies to actually fix their problems, but picking of jokers like this guy is a no-brainer

Polls indicate Chesa will probably be recalled but the population of core San Francisco will remain hard left so dumping Boudin most likely will only be a marginal, if not indiscernible improvement and San Francisco will just remain a shit hole.

Nothing less than John Wayne being Mayor of San Francisco and Donald Trump being Governor of California and Allan West becoming Chief of Police will noticeably help SFO.

The Soros DA in Los Angeles who is being recalled recently placed a man on 5 months probation for deliberately hitting a woman and her child with his car. She went flying up.

They is video of him swerving to hit them. Guilt was not a question. A judge and the DA are also criminals.
These types is in place in too many cities.

Boudin has sought to reshape a criminal justice system that he and his supporters see as profoundly unfair. He has refused to seek the death penalty or try juveniles as adults, significantly reduced the use of sentencing enhancements and sought to push people accused of low-level crimes fueled by drug addiction into treatment instead of a jail cell.

Its so UNFAIR to take the side of the wounded victims or the families of the deceased!

CA Appeals Court Slaps Down Radical LA District Attorney George Gascon

https://freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/4068955/posts

The three-justice panel of the Appeals Court said in its ruling that Gascon cannot order prosecutors to refuse to charge three-strikes cases and cannot order prosecutors to drop or withdraw special circumstance allegations.

The ruling upheld an earlier decision from a lower court that came to the same conclusion.

Frustration among career attorneys boiled for months, and finally culminated in the Association of Deputy District Attorneys suing Gascon, saying the policies violated their rights and state law.

“There’s never been a case where a court had to tell a chief prosecutor that his job is to follow the law,” Eric Siddall, vice president of the group, told Fox News. “Just because of the nature of his job, he doesn’t get to ignore or break the law.”

Said Siddall, “This is a win for the voters, a win for the people in the state of California and it’s a win for the line prosecutors. George Gascon and violent criminals, those are the two that lose today.”
