Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein said former President Donald Trump's efforts to overturn the 2020 election was something not even former President Richard Nixon would have imagined.
In an op-ed in The Washington Post, the two reporters known for uncovering the Watergate scandal said they thought Nixon defined corruption until they saw Trump's presidency.
In 1972, the Nixon administration coordinated a break-in at the Democratic National Committee's headquarters. The administration attempted to cover up its involvement until Nixon was forced to resign in 1974.

The only way auditing election results would “overturn the results of an election” would be if you knew the election had been stolen and did not want it proven.
Too much info coming out about how the election was stolen. The Jan. 6 event was staged as a fall-back position in case the truth was exposed. There WAS a coup, just not by Trump.

They were mostly tools even when they were in the spotlight.
I thought that Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein were nothing but political hacks in 1972. Now they are "has been" political hacks.
They are already lying when they baselessly accuse President Donald Trump of trying to overturn the 2020 election. They again fail to support their assertions with real evidence.
In reality President Trump wanted to take whatever time was necessary to restore the actual winner of the 2020 election. The unprecedented fraud was enormous and indicated by the odd bellwether findings at the state and local level, and rampant irregular statistics with hundreds of red flags.
The winner was NOT Joe Biden!
If Woodward and Bernstein were genuine responsible journalists, they would be digging into the mountains of evidence across the United States that show that Trump was the clear winner. Instead they take the Soviet low information needed approach. That approach must be easy money.

FYI- Everything is worse than Watergate and Trump is worse than everyone including the evil Nixon who could only be brought down by these caped crusaders.
