This isn’t just about proximity to The Swamp. Northern Virginia has extensive infrastructure in fiber-optic and main internet servers.

Why stay in Massachusetts? The whole state hates them.

They are going from one liberal hellhole to another. But Northern Virginia is closer to the levers of power than Massachusetts.

Raytheon is run by morons. My brother in law does contract work for Pratt and Whitney which is owned by Ratheon and they are running it into the ground.

Amazon, Boeing, Raytheon, ect... They must really want to keep the real-estate bubble going in the DC metro area.

Actually, DC home prices have risen slower than anywhere else in the past two years...a modest 10% compared to places like Phoenix at closer to 40%

That’s fine as long as it doesn’t bring its MA workers and their cultural and political perversions to VA as well...

Northern Virginia is a liberal wasteland. Not to say that many great conservative people don’t still reside there, but they are the vast minority.

Still better than Montgomery County, MD.

All those retired Generals and Colonels won’t have to move when they get their new jobs at the defense contractor facilities.

Yep...
When I lived, for a couple of years, in Fairfax (Reagan was President), it was just beginning to show some tendencies for political perversion...

In the event of war, doesn’t anyone see the downside to this?
