Second link ...only a single unnamed source about an alleged operation in 2006. And, the only named claimant on another point is Tony Shaffer. Also, the article circles back to referencing the NY Times, let me guess...James Risen article?
An old term for stateless actors is piracy. Pirates were often funded under the table by governments that recognize each other.
The French Foreign Legion is mercenaries. Mercenary armies are generally accountable under law of war, as the leadership is openly by a state actor.
Well, something is up.
“For what it’s worth (and your mileage may vary on their veracity), there were allegations reported on at the time that Blackwater did in fact engage in offensive operations, and that their assignments were not purely defensive.”
I was too busy laughing at his posting to reply. Thanks for doing it for me.
Reading comprehension is fundamental. Wagner is not a company, not a legitimate or legal entity. Blackwater, Triple Canopy, KBR, etc are all legal entities liable under laws of both home and host nations. Screw the pooch, go to jail. Wagner screws the pooch by intent, damn any laws. If one cannot see the difference, well, then, their minds are closed.
You have no idea what the billions of dollars being laundered to Ukraine are being used for, but we can be sure that a generous cut of it is going into the pockets of “The Big Guy and Hunter and George and Willard and other globalist gangsters, because that’s what Ukraine is there for.
I was being metaphorical with the BW name, as no name applies - that I’m aware of - to US military ‘cutouts’ who do our dirty work.
Dumbassery is fundamental.
“I would not be surprised in the least if the allegations that Blackwater committed offensive operations were true.”
What allegations? I was over there for four years and worked proximate to Blackwater often. The State Department controlled/ruled everything, just as with AFGN. If you know anything about State’s behavior in foreign countries you’d know there is N-F-W they take chances disaffecting host nations particularly by condoning clandestine operations within their host’s nation. They don’t like the DoD or anything military. It’s not their ‘thing’. If it’s not cocktail-party etiquette it’s gauche and repudiated.
Your metaphor remains lost. Comparing legal, accountable, entities with a criminal enterprise like in the movies is a silly thing. Dumbasserie indeed.
No, it is not.
Save to a select few lacking mental capacity and mirroring a troll.
Ok, You win. Wagner and BW/Xi are equals in status, standing and professionalism. Or not.
Have a nice evening.
Don’t let the door give you pleasure, Straw man.
Be nice. Disagree with me if you wish, but be nice.
Good evening.
“Gabidullin says he left Wagner because he became morally exhausted in Syria, fighting for a corrupt government that was hated by its own citizens. He says he was asked to fight in Ukraine but refused.
He says he wrote his book because he wants the Russian people to know the truth about Syria, their country’s wars and the lies of their government.”
Even an experienced killer can develop a conscience, if this man can be believed about his reasons for leaving Wagner. Let us pray that more will do the same. Thanks for a fascinating article Widget Jr.
Thank you for this post.
“The FBI, they act as Hillary’s private army. She has ties to Ukraine, right ?”
Wrong. Hillary has ties to Pustin/Russia.
Hillary Clinton and the 2010 Uranium One deal with Russia to former Secretary of State and the sale of Canadian mining company Uranium One to a Russian firm.
