I'm not a big fan of NPR. This is a straight interview with a former Wagner Group member, giving the insider view. Summary of Wagner Group's goals while Marat was a member:
- Acheive victory fast.
- Hide actually losses of Russian involvement.
- Spread disinformation.
- Control of resources, during this time in Africa.
This is all replicated in Ukraine. Since the company is not registered in Russia, the Kremlin gets to keep is hands officially clean while giving the orders and sanctioning everything the Wagner Group does.
