The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is preparing to cite the United States’ largest oil field for violating ozone pollution standards, a move that will threaten the end of oil and gas production in the region.
According to the Texas Governor’s Office, the proposed regulations will directly affect the Permian Basin, the largest oil field in the United States, accounting for 95,000,000 gallons of gasoline per day or 40% of the oil produced domestically.

I might sound like a kook, but I’ve thought for some time that the Deep State is going to pull off something that will prevent the midterm elections from being held. They know they would be devastated at the ballot box and will do whatever is necessary to keep their power.
Biden talks out both sides of his mouth, but this one was obviously delivered from his backside!
He swears he is doing all he can to LOWER gas prices (of course his PR team, and our enemedia, support and defend this BS claim).
Then, out the other end, Biden has the EPA attack the one oil region that supplies 40% of all oil in America!!
There is no way he and his idiotic friends do not know and understand these actions WILL RAISE GAS PRICES IN AMERICA - PERIOD!
The Democrats enjoy doing this to the country. They love to punish the little people of flyover country. That’s why they’re called the party of punishment...they will punish you until you submit to their demands.
Abbott needs to ignore this and tell Biden that this is an act of War against the sovereignty of the State of Texas and its citizens and that he will deploy the National Guard and protect this area from Federal regulators.
Same as Iraq invading the Kuwait to claim their oil fields.

You’re right if they were prudent, they would do what you suggest.
However, when your goal is elimination of the fossil fuel industry, then this makes perfect sense.
The Biden Administration is saying, it’s better beg for forgiveness than ask for permission.
Keep doing whatever you want to do, make up EPA rules in this case to eliminate the largest oil field in America.
It will take 12-18 months or more to get any unconstitutional decision reversed, so why not do it in their minds.
