Actually I am reasonably confident that DeSantis is, right now, Trump’s first choice for a running mate. I expect Trump to get nominated and DeSantis to be the GOP VP candidate.

VP’s historically..do nothing. John Adams wanted to kill himself due to boredom when he was VP. If Desantis is the AG under Trump, he would make a difference but VP’s are useless unless you’re Lyndon Johnson.

DeSantis is not interested in VP. It’s a thankless job.
Proved himself to you. How about proving himself to a sufficient number of people that he can be acknowledged publicly as having won an election? As a recent post pointed out, many people believe there’s a 4-5% fraud margin favoring the Democrats. We need a guy who can beat that. Reagan did it and he did it be persuading marginal voters to vote for him. That’s what politics is.
Do you really believe Trump can do that? If so, what’s your evidence? If not don’t you have to find someone who can?
