I have zero doubt that Blinkin and Dept of State will completely ruin the Abraham Accords. President Trump did an end round, which excluded nearly everyone at the Department of State to negotiate and implement the Abraham Accords. There isn’t a single decent State employee. DoS needs to be completely dismantled and rebuilt without rehiring a single current or former employee. There should be a ban on employment recruiting from the typical Ivy and Colonial League sources. Their world view is incompatible with America First.
I was extremely lucky to be working in an embassy when Trump fired all of the seventh floor DoS people. Every single person from the DoS in that embassy walked around like it was 9/11 all over. Maybe for them it was.
But they sure acted differently with the host nation for quite awhile afterwards. Afraid they would be let go also if they played the old game.
2016 election night at the embassy was real fun too. At least for me and mine.
