It’s pretty clear Russia will take whatever it wants and there is nothing the Ukraine can do about it.
Russia certainly took a fine piece of the bottom of the black sea and parked their flagship cruiser there. No doubt that is what they wanted to do.

Every war had it’s losses. Russia is taking Ukraine territory bit by bit as its own and they can’t stop it. It is what it is. They have not mounted a counter offensive yet.

And I agree with your assessment that they need a treaty regarding the eastern provinces and Crimea.
Before this war the Russian government claimed 1400 nukes. And that was 2014. The Mayak disaster means no new nukes since 2017. Normal attrition puts their probable nuke count around 700 and probably less once you factor in corruption.
As if you can trust the Russians to keep their treaty promises.

My big point is to stop it all. You are right and thanks regarding the majority of the number is weapons but they’ve also sent billions in cash.
The southern border gets about 3 billion. I’m sure some military weapons, engineering, transportation, housing, etc could be put together and secure the southern border.
I’m beyond tired seeing America send money and weapons and those spec ops people training others in a loser war which in the end, if Ukraine even wins will do nothing for America.

Russia will bypass Odessa to the north and link up with proRussian elements in Transnistria, Thereby isolating and cutting off Odessa from the rest of Ukraine. The eventual inevitable negotiated settlement will resolve the Odessa issue at some later date. Meanwhile Russia will have taken control of the rest of the entire Ukrainian coastline.
