‘Forever Chemicals’ Make Rainwater Everywhere Unsafe To Drink
Weather Channel ^ | 8/5/22

A group of hazardous synthetic chemicals called PFAS, which don’t break down in the environment, have been found in rainwater across the globe at levels which make it unsafe to drink, according to a new study.

Weather Channel doing their (leftist/commie) duty to cover for what is probably the crap ground water systems that the majority of water districts have moved to, in recent years.

Well, since rain water is a major contributor of springs and streams and rivers and other waterways that are prime sources of drinking water since...well, pretty much forever; it’s a wonder we weren’t driven to extinction before we even had the chance to evolve. Oh, people will say, “But...but, plastics and herbicides and all that other stuff is new!” Yeah, but their basic chemical make-ups are ancient, and are in nature in one form or another. We can create new compounds, but they are created from older, more basic compounds, which were in turn created out of even older, even more basic elements.

The problem — if there even is one — probably has more to to with the balance or imbalance of elements and compounds, such that they might become toxic to humans.

I’d rather drink iffy water than die of thirst.

Using activated carbon is easy and it’s cheap. It improves the taste of water, as it removes chlorine, so many already do it.

They do not break down, and do accumulate in your liver. But they do not cause any issues. So far. Studies are ongoing. They have quit making most of them.

This reminds me somehow of a video I saw yesterday.

There is a great guy name Greg Hunter, he used to be a reporter for CNN back when they actually presented a little bit of real news. He presents actual news of the day on his web broadcasts now and they are great. His Weekend Roundup was done back at his family farm in Missouri yesterday and at the end of the show, which he did next to the cornfield, he did something that was kinda funny.

Firstly the bugs were making such a racket he was drowned out at times, then at the end he did some live commercials as he has had to resort to that after google ad-sense dumped him for speaking the truth and he likewise was demonetized on youtube.

So as the daylight dimmed he was doing a demo of a water filter, he rigged the filter up in a one gallon jug and filled it with a bucket of water he drew from the river. So he filters the water into a glass and then drinks it right down to show how much faith he has in it, then he turns the jug around on camera and it has the following written on it "ROUND UP X" obviously it was used to mix roundup herbicide and plastered with that legend to alert everyone not to use it as it was tainted...somehow in haste he missed that

I have never seen such faith displayed in a water filter before, I think maybe I should pick some up..lol

When near the end of his show he started selling his wares in front of the cornfield I said to myself "The bastards have turned him into Mr Haney" lol

Exactly. PFA, one type of Teflon, is so non-reactive I used to use vessels made of it to high pressure digest refractory metals using concentrated nitric, hydrochloric, and hydrofluoric acids.

The is nothing your body can do to incorporate it. Whatever enters your body will eventually exit it.

they don’t want people self-reliant by collecting rainwater

THIS. Lots of YT videos now about DIY collection systems for rainwater for your homestead. Lots of interest in water filtration systems, like Berkey. Big Gub'mint does not want you self-reliant. If they are stoking fear, they are lying.

Or poisoning those areas that are rural to force the masses into controlled smaller areas, refer to agenda 21 before it became agenda 30

Not a single post mentioning “precious bodily fluids”? It looks like Jack D. Ripper and is limited to Everclear now.

Point 1 is correct. They are lying. This is a fluorinated acid group, which is a highly reactive chemical functional group. Unlike perfluorinated and chlorofluroinated alkanes (”Freon” refrigerants), which ARE inherently stable and don’t break down easily.

Just an attempt to put another brick in the socialist regulatory regime being built to justify total rule by the bureaucracy.

Drugs used by humans do not stay in the body-—. Approx 50% excrete into the waste water.

There are NO treatments that remove that drug residue. NO FILTERS, either.

PFAS chemicals are widely used to coat paper and cardboard wrappers for fast food and bakery goods. PFAS chemicals lurk in stain-resistant furniture and carpets treated with Scotchgard, Stainmaster and other fabric treatments. Clothes labeled stain- or water-repellent, such as Gore-Tex jackets, usually contain PFAS chemicals.

been around forever and are NOT in rainwater.
I call BS

If they stay around "forever" then they can't be terribly chemically active.

Just so. If they won’t break down in “the environment”, they’re not likely to break down in my body, either.
