Have the Ex-perts determined when we should have everyone on the planet living in the UN Refreegee Camp of America?

I wonder how much Bethany is funded by taxpayers and how much by free will donations?

Hey, everybody, now's your big chance to get in on the big money 'refugee resettlement' operation that Washington DC think is such a great idea. These folks will fit right in, I'm sure. And I'm certain that the good folks of Winter Park are aware of this happening... right.

This was brought to my attention by Florida FReeper 'dkGba', and I thought I'd pass it along for comment. One of many examples of what has been happening across the country since a year ago when the Biden* administration disgracefully bailed out of Afghanistan, where some of our citizens are still trapped. But at least they used our tax dollars to being in all these nice folks to replace them.

I'm compiling a list of FReepers interested in Florida-related topics.

IS the state of Florida required to go along with this????

I cannot imagine any Afghan refugees near where I live-—certainly NOT in any number.

Not only are the Afghanis an alien culture, they are a culture incompatible with almost every tenet of American culture. Resettling them here is a huge mistake. But nobody listens to me. And people “representing” us in the government simply do not care what happens because like liberals everywhere, THEY do not have to deal with the problem.

“Bi-lingual: English/Arabic, French, Kinyarwanda, Swahili or other indigenous languages for Refugee Resettlement and English/Dari, Farsi, Pashto, or other applicable languages for Afghan program”

I bet it’s a pretty short list, American citizens who speak even one of these languages.

But, no English, no job, no education, no transferable skills — these folks are “positioned for success.”

Winter Park and Winter Garden are not the same place. They are two communities 25 miles apart, on opposite sides of Orlando. I know because I lived in Winter Park, from 1966 to 2006.

I wonder how many of these 'settlements' have already been established here. It's certainly not something these people doing this work like to advertise about, nor does the media cover it.

No way of knowing how many are being 'introduced', but as I recall Winter Haven, these folks should stand out pretty easily. I don't know how much the proximity to Orlando will mitigate that.

One has to wonder how these same agencies, including the news, will react when the first of these immigrants is shot dead during the commission of a violent crime. Florida isn't New York. Of course, we already know how it will be covered, don't we? It's almost like the FedGov wants it to happen.

"Winter Park and Winter Garden are not the same place."

Ah, you are correct -- thanks. I meant 'Winter Garden', not 'Winter Park'.

This online activism stuff would be a lot easier if I wasn't a working stiff posting on coffee breaks.

Sorry folks, my mistake. It's 'Winter Garden', not 'Winter Park'.

Not sure how much difference that makes, in any case.

I have no doubt they’ll be all over central Florida, including Orlando and maybe Winter Park (parts are somewhat exclusive), the posting at website specifies Winter Garden which is a relatively smaller town west of Orlando. I am not happy about this -I live in the area. It was my understanding that Biden opened plane doors with welcome arms (leaving AMERICAN CITIZENS BEHIND 😡) and didn’t really vet or screen them. I am angry that under guise of ‘christianity’ that these charities aid and abet the people invading our country. We must stop donating knowing this is what they do. I see a lot of job posts for case managers that are essentially just immigrant assistance (I have no proof but I doubt illegal vs legal is a discriminator). I am emailing my congressman and DeSantis. Do you think they even know?? I am upset with a ‘conservative’ friend whose opinion when I told her this was “I wouldn’t worry about the afghan refugees. The open border situation is the outrageous issue going on.” 😡😡 In my opinion- if they’re not vetted/screened AND are unwanted/unwelcome it is still invasion. Again in my opinion, Our collective tolerance of ‘small things’ is how we ended up with the big disaster in our country!! (Not just the illegal invasion- everything). I weep for country I grew up in and am appalled how easily many are willing to hand it over with their votes, who lack basic understanding of the consequences.

Yes, job posting is Winter Garden just west of Orlando. I know my autocorrect mixes them up all time. Nevertheless it does not sound like they are talking about just a handful of people and I suppose most of central Florida could be impacted.

I think the refugee industry is going to target Red Areas for resettlement - Wyoming in particular.

They’re trying to turn Florida and Texas blue via resettlement.

I wonder if DeSantis knows about this - and if he’s even able to stop it.

We are saturated in California, and they still keep pouring in. No water, but the government doesn’t care, they crack down on us homeowners and businesses to conserve water (we have a 15 day ban on any outdoor watering).
