(AFP) — President Volodymyr Zelensky vowed on Wednesday that Ukraine will resist the Russian invasion “until the end” without “any concession or compromise”, as the nation marks its Independence Day as well as the six-month anniversary of the start of the war.
“We don’t care what army you have, we only care about our land,” Zelensky said in a defiant morning video address. “We will fight for it until the end.”

The Russians have yet to go scorched earth. They have not gone after the electric grid, like we did against Serbia. Imagine Ukraine without electricity. Serbia conceded not long afterwards.
The Russians already control the biggest nuclear reactor in Europe, which is in Ukraine.
Winter is coming. Europe is paying energy costs that have risen exponentially. How long will the people support continuation of the war? The pressure will grow to end the war. Already Europe is slowing down its support to Ukraine.
And the Hitler analogy continues to be poor.
