Assuming for the sake of argument that the rhetoric of those conducting the investigation is to be believed - they are leaking information that was not being leaked while in Trump’s possession. The same information they are going to charge Trump for possessing because it was so sensitive that no one should know about - they are leaking publicly - the ones who are investigating and want to charge Trump.
