As Russia has concluded communism is evil, the communist sympathizers in the USA have doubled down on implementing it.
However, their concentration of power among the elites is not quite welcoming individual freedoms and equal justice.
They seem to have as far to go to achieve a moral free market capitalism and we have to re-achieve it.
That’s a sad state of affairs for both nations. Unfortunately we’re going the wrong direction.
Putin thought his “special operation” would last less than a week.
We are now into a 6 months long war. The number one nuclear power in the world with all its military resources doing this bad is actually a bit crazy. Think about it. The amount of tanks and soldiers they lost is staggering.
Russias people are fed up with their own deep-state warmongering politicians.
Russia is depleting its military resources by the minute and to such a point I’m starting to wonder if Putin might be a Nato-mole destroying Russias army from within, bit by bit. I’m being a tad sarcastic.
What’s interesting about the article is that it shows Russia is starting to feel quite some unease in its society. They will soon feel the Vietnam syndrome we in America felt... which made us end the war there, letting the communists win.
The only thing Russia can hope for now, is a pyrrhic victory.

Those who reject this as propaganda may be correct. I have an open mind.
However, Putin’s ideological forebearers Lenin, Stalin, and Brezhnev have poor track records against other countries when invading them unprovoked. Russia/USSR screwed the pooch trying to take over Poland in 1919, Finland in 1940, and Afghanistan in 1979.
Russia does a lot better when attacked first, and when its life is on the line. Napoleon and Hitler found that out the hard way...
To clarify, he is not important like a politician or oligarch. He has no political office and his influence inside Russia is unknown. He was directly involved in these events for 20 years. That makes him one of the more aware and informed commentators on the war.

There is a dozen Russian propagandists undercover here on FR pretending to be American Patriots. Not many, but still. They are triggered every time there is bad news for Russia in this war.
This is my message to them :
We have not much in common except our mutual disdain for woke culture.
Just bring your troops back to Russia. So we can continue to work as economical partners in the future. Russian people are our allies, but some Russian politicians are not.
