President Biden on Friday sought to dismantle the agenda proposed hours earlier by House Republican leaders should they take back the House, hitting Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) for dodging key issues and warning that a GOP majority would try to strip away fundamental rights and government programs.
Biden, in remarks at a Democratic National Committee event at the National Education Association, issued a point-by-point rebuttal to the agenda unveiled by McCarthy.

They better not cut into Medicare or Social Security. That would spell the downfall of the Republican party, especially since Boomers vote. However, Democrats always state that Republicans want to shut down both those programs, however, in reality, Obamacare cut Medicare funding a lot.
Or maybe Liz Cheney can sponsor a bill outlawing the Republican party.
I would love to hear just 1 politician speak out about the incredible debt on America and how rather than BASELINE Budget they will cut back in EVERY DEPT 10% each year until the budget is met. They can’t even PASS a budget anymore but go on with these LOUSY CONTINUING RESOLUTIONS>

There wasn’t a whole lot there to McCarthy’s plan so I don’t see what there is to hit back on.
SS and Medicare are, unfortunately, here to stay. What will happen is that the IOUs will run out, then FICA will go up while benefits go down.
Yeah and sadly most voters likely won’t read the Republicans plan nor the rebuttal by Xiden. Most voters just are not all that intellectual and start snoozing at policy arguments. It has to be screamed at them like banshees.
Biden doesn’t know what he’s saying.
This guy is in real trouble, not just in his head.
