The CDC recommends that everyone over 12 get an updated booster as long as at least two months have passed since their last Covid shot.
At least 4.4 million people have received an updated Covid booster since the start of the month, according to data released Thursday by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. That number represents around 1.5% of people currently eligible to receive the shots in the U.S.
The data does not include people who received updated Pfizer-BioNTech boosters in Idaho and Texas, the CDC said, so it is likely an underestimate. The White House estimates the number to be closer to 5 million doses of the new booster, The Associated Press reported.
The CDC signed off on updated versions of Pfizer’s and Moderna’s booster shots on Sept. 1, and pharmacies and other vaccination sites began administering the new shots around Labor Day weekend. The bivalent shots target both the original coronavirus strain and the currently circulating omicron subvariants BA.4 and BA.5.

I take 10,000/day for chronic urticaria (hives). It truly does help control them & keeps me mostly off antihistamines.
January before last, after possible exposure to WuFlu, I bumped it up to 20,000/day until I knew I was clear.
I’ve gotten my very elderly folks (89 & 99) up to 70 ng/ml & they have not gotten sick at all over the last year - not a sniffle! Neither have had a single WuFlu shot, nor do they ever intend to get one, plus they skipped the flu shot last year & are skipping all shots in the future.
Yeah I agree. I was ranting about all the fake high profile attacks on basic logic.

Many freepers were stupid, gullible and cowardly and were vaxed. They’d post how proud they were. Others would agree with them. I was amazed. Disgusted and had more resolve to not get the covid shot.
I got it. I think it's helpful because it got us through the initial crisis. But the vaccine was manufactured for the virus that no longer exists. Now we have herd immunity which we did not have in the first place. But still Dr. Fauci was manipulative in order to get the population to get the shots so he was wrong about that. But vaccine skeptics are wrong too. This isn't the "killer" vaccine.

The vaccines do work to keep people out of hospitals by a factor of about 100. Immunity isn’t just about having high antibody levels. It’s also about having B a T cells. The B cells make the antibodies and remember how to make antibodies to a pathogen if it comes back. B cells don’t just make identical copies of themselves. They make variations of themselves in order to handle new variants of a pathogen. The T cells kill infected cells.
While it was hoped the vaccines would provide herd immunity and stop COVID-19 permanently, that appears not to be possible as the corona virus is a fast mutating RNA based virus. Everyone is eventually going to be exposed to some variant of COVID-19. If you are over 40 or have co-morbidities, it’s much better to be vaccinated first so that the disease is either like a cold or a flu. There are well respected virologists who do not think that young adults need to be boosted. Dr. Paul Offit who is on the vaccine board of the FDA opposed the emergency authorization of the bivalent boosters due to insufficient demonstration of better efficacy against the new variants compared to an additional dose of the existing boosters. He also opposed a blanket recommendation for everyone 12 and over get boosted. The FDA withdrew authorization for the original boosters. Dr. Offit recommended that his own children who are in their twenties not get a booster dose.
Extrapolations got us face masks, mandatory lockdowns, etc. So, no thanks! ;)
Doctor Offit who was born in 1951 and got one booster when the boosters first came out but got a light case of Omicron during the Summer that was basically like having a cold. Basically it was his Omicron booster. As he has said in interviews, the purpose of the vaccines is to prevent bad outcomes like hospitalization and death not to prevent all infection. The mRNA vaccines do a good job of creating a base level of immunity that prevents hospitalizations and death. The question is who should get another booster right now? It’s probably people over 70 or with serious co-morbidites, but the trials don’t really have enough data to show that. Probably my 86 year old mother should get one, but there’s no way the FDA should just be issuing a blanket recommendation for everyone 12 and over to get a booster at this time.

The $hots do NOT work at preventing hospitalization....even the so-called CDC and FDA “experts” have admitted this.
Herd immunity should have....and, would have been achieved NATURALLY, had FRAUDci and his criminal gang NOT forced the $hots as mandates....and, 24/7 on BOUGHT AND PAID for network ads, hospital system ads, etc...and, allowed folks to live their lives as had ALWAYS been done, before, and protect the vulnerable (stay home, take your Vit D, etc.), let kids stay in school....businesses stay open, etc.
This was ALL explained by REAL docs/experts at the onset of the china virus. But....too much money was to be made and an election had to be stolen, so....no dice.
The $hots HAVE been effective at causing numerous adverse effects and deaths.
Even main stream outlets are FINALLY reporting, on this.
