The CDC recommends that everyone over 12 get an updated booster as long as at least two months have passed since their last Covid shot.
At least 4.4 million people have received an updated Covid booster since the start of the month, according to data released Thursday by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. That number represents around 1.5% of people currently eligible to receive the shots in the U.S.
The data does not include people who received updated Pfizer-BioNTech boosters in Idaho and Texas, the CDC said, so it is likely an underestimate. The White House estimates the number to be closer to 5 million doses of the new booster, The Associated Press reported.
The CDC signed off on updated versions of Pfizer’s and Moderna’s booster shots on Sept. 1, and pharmacies and other vaccination sites began administering the new shots around Labor Day weekend. The bivalent shots target both the original coronavirus strain and the currently circulating omicron subvariants BA.4 and BA.5.

The long con continues.
Still thriving at age 61 without the jab & under no circumstances will I ever take it!
It will,be censored- you can bet on it. Problem with the vaccines, noone knows what the long term effects will be- but we are seeing short term effects, and they are bad for some folks, ie blood clots, myocardial problems, breathing problems for some apparently, etc. Of course many vaccines carry some risk, and some folks suffer terribly from other types of vaccines, but with the covid vaccines, it seems to be kinds high (the deleterious short term effects I mean). Kinda of a elevated crap shoot.
3 of us who are elderly, with comorbidities, survived omicron fine without vaccine for it. It sucked having the virus, but we fared fine. Not suggesting one way or the other to anyone regarding vaccination, but personally we chose not to, even knowing we were higher risk. We personally think they I flated numbers to make it look more deadly that it was. Reports have surfaced that the counts were dropped pretty dramatically when they adjusted how they counted “covid deaths” to exclude those who simply, died WITH covid as opposed to dying FROM covid. That fact, along with other facts, made our minds up personally.
Could it be that a lot more folks after reading 2 years of mRna damages and effects are just saying no to untested, unapproved experimental toxins injected into their bodies. A lot of people actually read the research and testing reports now after this years old debacle of poisoning the population to line some big pharm companies pockets with biden cash.
The most overused word in all of the liberal lexicon is “could.”
I urge you not to get it. Each dose of the Spike protein increases your risk.
More poison offered by those who profit from keeping us sick.
Unfortunately, this isn't quite accurate. The numbers are decreasing, but there are still many who buy into the hype.
C’mon man…step right up and get the new and improved Kill shot…and bring your toddlers too…
No human testing was done...nty
When this is all over, the outcome(s) of the COVID vaccine project may well bring down the “annual flu shot” as well.
you are correct sir!
once credibility is lost
it is very difficult to earn it back
I never took those either.
Given the incompetence and dishonesty our regulatory agencies have demonstrated, I’m reluctant to get any vaccinations.
I received an e-mail notification from Steve Kirsch that I read last night and this morning. I have ordered a copy of Turtles All The Way Down: Vaccine Science and Myths...517 pages, excluding the references to their sources, which can be accessed with links in a free *.pdf file.
I was able to read the Introduction and Chapter 1.
It was written by Israelis and published in Hebrew in 2019. The English version was released earlier this year. There is a standing reward of $4,000 that someone other than the authors has offered, for anyone who can prove that anything in the book is not factual.
Should arrive on Tuesday.
Only 2%?
Jeepers - and to think, I have 3-4 people, just in my extended family who think Fauci is a hero, talk constantly about this-and-that variant and new boosters, and couldn’t wait to get jabbed again.
As you can guess, Thanksgiving Dinners can be awkward.
Thanksgiving Dinners can be awkward.
I’d take a hard pass unless I’m the one cooking.
Whenever I am confronted when I breeze past the pharmacy section of the grocery store or am in it to buy some over the counter item, such as Claritin, and am asked if I want my booster by the vaxseem hawkers who work there, I respond that, alas, I tested positive for Covid less than 3 months ago. Further alas, it is the darndest thing: I test positive every 80 days or so but my symptoms are hard to distinguish from what I have been buying Claritin for for years, and I’ve never been able to get the vaxseem because I keep popping positive. Oh well. ‘Tis a pity.
For rational people who think for themselves, these medical choices come down to
1) judging who to trust and believe.
2) balancing risk/reward.
I do not trust Big Pharma, nor do I trust MDs who accept Big Pharma bribes.
The risk of getting Covid or the flu just never seemed that high to me… and I’m 70 years old.
I looked around me and just did not see anyone dying that wasn’t dying already.
