There’s quite a leap of reasoning from “Nord Stream 2 will not move forward” and “we will bring an end to it”, to having American frogmen blowing it up.
Biden could just as easily have meant cancelled contracts between Germany and Russia, which makes sense given “the project’s in Germany’s control”.
Russia is daft enough to cause an ecological disaster on someone else’s turf. So is America. But Russia doesn’t care about causing irreparable reputational damage to itself; it’s already screwing the pooch on that front.
NS1 exploded. Minor detail.
Well, since you are going to post this collage on every thread, I feel obligated to respond here, as I did elsewhere:
Taken as isolated soundbites, those statements raise eyebrows, no question.
But they are circumstantial. What is the totality of the interview? What was the context?
And, as for Sikorski, there is this response: “Poland’s Secretary of State, Stanisław Żaryn, denounced Sikorki’s claim on Twitter as ‘Russian #propaganda,’ calling it ‘a smear campaign against Poland, the US and Ukraine, accusing the West of aggression against #NS1 and #NS2. Authenticating the Russian lies at this particular moment jeopardizes the security of Poland. What an act of gross irresponsibility!’”
If this was your case in chief — and it would be your burden as the accusing party to present it — your case would be thrown out without further ado.
You are rushing to judgment.
Blinken said it at some time or another as well.
******g psychotic maniacs.
It's kinda hard to tell the two of them apart, if you know what I'm sayin'.
“I cannot forecast to you the action of Russia. It is a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma; but perhaps there is a key. That key is Russian national interest.”
